Cookie policy

Last updated: · Version 2.1

If the English text and the Arabic text differ in any way, the Arabic version prevails.

The RS Financial Services platform uses cookies and similar tracking tools. This policy tells you exactly what we use, why, and how you control it, with no sugar-coating. The analytics and marketing tools only run once you agree to them yourself in the banner shown on your first visit.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. They help the site "remember" you, for example that you are signed in, so you do not have to type your password on every page. Other tools work the same way (such as pixels and the browser's local storage), and this policy covers all of them.

2. What always runs (no consent needed)

  • Session and sign-in cookies (Supabase): needed so you can sign in and stay signed in as you move between pages. The platform cannot work without them, so we do not ask for separate consent.
  • Visit-source storage (UTM): if you arrive from an ad or campaign link, we keep the name of that campaign on your device for the length of the session only, so that if you book a workshop we know the campaign worked. This is first-party storage on your device and is not shared with anyone.

3. Analytics and marketing tools (only with your consent)

These tools are never loaded unless you press "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, or do not choose, none of them runs:

  • Google Analytics 4: platform usage statistics (most visited pages, traffic sources), so we understand what works and improve it.
  • Google Ads: measuring how well our Google ads perform. If you arrive from an ad and book, Google learns that the ad worked.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): measuring our Facebook and Instagram ads. It may be used for retargeting, meaning you may see an ad from us after visiting the platform.
  • Microsoft Clarity: heat maps and anonymous recordings of how pages are used (where you click and where you stop), so we can find confusing parts and fix them.

These tools belong to other companies (Google, Meta and Microsoft), and the data about how you use them is processed under their own privacy policies. We do not sell or rent your browsing data to anyone.

4. How consent works: you decide

  • On your first visit a banner offers two equal choices: Accept or Decline. There is no implied consent: using the platform without choosing does not mean you agreed, and the tools stay off until you accept.
  • Your choice is recorded on your device (in the browser's local storage under the key rs-consent-v1) and applies to every page of the platform.
  • If you decline, the platform works exactly as normal, and no feature is closed to you.

5. Change your choice at any time

Changed your mind? From here you clear your recorded choice, and the banner appears again so you can choose afresh:

Your current choice: You have not chosen yet — the banner will appear at the bottom of the page

All modern browsers also let you see, clear or block stored cookies, from the browser's settings (usually under "Privacy").

6. What your choice affects

  • If you block the necessary cookies in your browser: sign-in will not work, and you will not be able to use any part of the platform that needs an account.
  • If you decline analytics and marketing cookies: your use of the platform is not affected. We simply learn less about what works and what needs improving.
  • If you change your mind after accepting: as soon as you press "Change your choice", the page reloads automatically so the tools stop immediately, not at your next visit.

7. How this relates to the privacy policy

Cookies are part of how we handle your data. For the full picture of the data we collect and your legal rights over it, see the privacy policy.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change the tools we use or the way consent works, we update this page, and the date at the top always shows the latest update. If the change is significant, we ask for your consent again.
